Description: Meet Jasmine. She is about 6 yrs old and is a rescue from a group in China.

She’s very sweet and just wants a person to bond with. Jasmine does well with other dogs, is good on a leash and is not destructive.  She likes chasing balls/toys that are thrown, but doesn’t necessarily bring them back.  🙂  Please note that Jasmine is not good with cats though. Description: This is Cate, a beautful senior who would much rather live out her time in a loving home. Cate’s former owner could no longer take care of her because of health problems and AHRSC was quick to come to her rescue. A nice quiet home as an only dog would be good for her and Cate does not get along with other female dogs. Description: This beautiful girl has had a very rough life and deserves to have the very best for her remaing years. Holly Berry was rescued from Mexico where she had been chained outdoors but despite it all still has alot of love to give. She had her veterinary care, a check up, spay and her dental. Holly Berry knows that special person is out there with her perfect home where she can live her life out with a lot of love and attention. She certainly deserves it and is hoping it comes very soon!

Siobhan

Description: Meet Siobhan! She has made the long journey from Harbin, China, to Bejing, to Seoul and finally to Los Angeles!!!!  She came to Rescue on Christmas Eve and is ready to begin the search for her forever home. Siobhan has been spayed and is current on her vaccines. She is such a wonderful, sweet, fun girl! Full of life and energy, loves to play and ready for her new life with that special someone.

SIOBHAN UPDATE: Siobahn has been with AHRSC since right before Christmas, and still looking for her forever home. She is about 1  1/2 – 2 yrs old. She has been with a foster home that has done some extensive work with her, housetraining, etc. She was one of the China dogs we were able to relocate to the US. She is still looking for her forever home. If you are in the Western US looking to adopt an afghan, please fill out the adoption application.  This is a very special sweet girl with a lot of love to give!

Siobhan was picked up from the breeder bringing the dogs to the slaughterhouse by Harbin SHS Animal Rescue. Harbin SHS

These rescues from Harbin, China are very special and will now have a chance to live the life they so deserve!

Description:  Meet Lyra! A very sweet and quirky girl. Lyra is rather shy at first but warms up quickly. She does need an experienced Afghan Hound home with a woman and no young children also. Lyra is not fond of men as we have seen at Rescue and will need someone with a lot of patience, understanding and love. Lyra is spayed and would need to have a home evaluated before placement.
