Description: Thanks to all who contributed to our fundraisers to save Jasmine! This Afghan Hound was rescued in China from the slaughterhouse by volunteers of “No Dogs Left Behind” and AHRSC sponsored/paid for Jasmine who has now finally arrived in CA! This beautiful girl is 4 1/2 yrs old, is spayed, and we are very thankful she is finally here. She seems to be a very confident girl and is currently being fostered in the No. CA area. Jasmine did well on the flight, rode nicely in the car afterwards and is good on a leash. This girl is in the best of hands with a woman who has Afghan Hounds of her own and is also a groomer. (NDLB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with Chinese activists and volunteers to rescue dogs from death in certain parts of China and rehabilitates them for eventual adoption. NDLB is gearing up for more transports of slaughterhouse dogs from China to New York City. Most of these survivors are adopted or fostered by families in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.
